Buddhivantha in Telugu as Budhimanthudu

Buddhivantha is the latest hyped Upendra's movie of Kannada. It is said that Buddhivantha is the comeback movie of Upendra, the Real Star after continuous failures like Anatharu, Masthi, Tandege takka Maga, Uppi Dada MBBS, etc.

This movie is now dubbed to Telugu as Budhimanthudu. This movie is a remake of Tamil movie Nan Avanillai, which was released about 22 years ago by K. Balachander starring Gemini Ganesan in the lead role.

Upendra appears in five different get ups in Budhimanthudu. The film is one of the biggest hits of 2008 running 100 days in many centres and now it is being brought to Telugu by P. Hanumanth Reddy and H. Lakshmikanth Reddy under the Balaji Productions banner.

The film has five heroines: Pooja Gandhi, Suma Ranganath, Saloni, Brinda Parekh and Natanya Singh.

The movie will be released by 27th of March on Ugadi festival day.
