Kuala Lumpur: Tamil acting legend Manorama has been shifted to ICU of a private hospital in Chennai after a knee operation.
 
The 66-year-old, who holds a Guinness World Record for acting in most number of films, reportedly failed to regain consciousness following the surgery.

According to Malaysia Nanban, the actress previously sought treatment in Kerala but moved to the Chennai hospital after the treatment using traditional Kerala medicine fell short, reports the Star Online.

The star, affectionately called Aachi, has acted in more than 1500 films, 1000 stage performances, and television serials. (ANI)
