Nifty ended 43 points down

NSE's Nifty ended 43 points or 0.88% down at 4844 (Provisional). BSE's Sensex ends 147 points down (Provisional). Maruti was the top gainer of the day. It was up by 0.95%. JP Associates was down by 4.71%. Tata Steel was the most active counter with a total turnover of over 426 crores at NSE.
Todays highlights: -
All the day Sensex was trading in negative territory.
Realty Index continued its slide and was the biggest looser of the day. It was down by 3.61%. DLF lost 4.38%. Indiabulls Real Estate Limited was down by 6.68%. HDIL was down by 4.66%.
