New York: Republicans are more likely than Democrats to achieve orgasm during sex, a new survey has revealed.
According to the 5,000-subject survey released by Binghamton University and Match.com on Friday, 53 per cent of those identifying themselves as single, conservative Republicans said they reached orgasm almost every time they have sex, compared to just 40 per cent of liberal Democrats.
But the findings also suggest while Republicans do get better sex, they don’t get to enjoy it that often, the New York Daily News reported.
Those surveyed said they have their fun less frequently than their Democrat counterparts.
The survey also revealed that those in the differing political groups seek different traits in a partner.
Liberal Democrats place more importance on a sense of humour, independence, someone whom they consider the equal and share a similar lifestyle to their own.
Republicans, on the other hand, place more emphasis on finding someone of the same background and political party and are more concerned with dating someone who’s interested in marriage.
But politics isn’t necessarily a deal breaker for a relationship as only 17 per cent of men and 20 per cent of women said they “must have” someone that’s in their political party.
