Director R Chandru who has attempted in the kannada film ‘Ko Ko Koli Kothi’ a journey the film based theory of two animals – Hen and Monkey – the film draws various conclusions.
It’s all about police commissioner (Srihari) Srihari Prasad taking on a young boy Kitty (Srinagara Kitty), who is in love with the commissioner’s sister Kaveri (Priya Mani).
This kind of film is very difficult to make. It is not only typical but also novelty filled.Director Chandru knowing the needs of the people/mass/class has given an excellent package in ‘Ko Ko Koli Kothi’ that has lovely songs and absorbing cinematography. It is a feast to the eyes and performances he has taken from all the artists.
The arrival of songs in between the flow of narration of the film troubles the mood of the film and music of Ramana Gogula is not so great.(its like you watching some telugu film)
While the first half has witty dialogues, the second drags a bit with slow narration. and film is same old plot where sister brother troubles the love and at the end he only give her sister to her boy..!
The Telugu actor Srihari coming to Kannada for the first time has done his best
Srinagara Kitty is brilliant as a loverboy. His dialogue delivery and body language is amazing. Priya Mani impresses. Harshika Poonacha is lively in a small role. Sanjjanaa played an item song in the film and sure to win hearts of many people with her dance. Cinematography by KS Chandrashekar is good. Kaviraj has given better lyrics for you.
